I am writing from Terminal C in ATL after experiencing Augusta National for the first time yesterday. You may think I spent the majority of my time at the practice facilities since that’s my whole thing. But that golf course is unbelievable. If you haven’t been, I hope you get to experience it someday!
My biggest takeaway was how every single hole feels like a double bogey no matter where you are standing. It was so much fun to see how everyone practiced both around and into the greens. We watched Chris Gotterup practice from behind 17 for 5 minutes and watched Justin Rose hit half-a-dozen “going for it” shots into 15. These guys practice for the shots they think they will have and you should too!
